per. Please buy several manuscript tablets of attached sample of manuscript paper, which can be purchased at Classworks (the teacher store in Hammond) to be used for homework—mainly spelling. The tablets and/or paper are to be left at home. All homework is to be torn out of the manuscript tablet (if using the tablet) and placed in child’s folder for the teacher to check.
Parents: Please buy a roll of clear contact paper. Keep at home. All soft covered books must be covered with clear contact paper. This will protect the books. I should have the books ready so when you drop off your child’s supplies you may take the books home and begin cover-ing them. The students can bring them on the fi rst day of school. This will save you time and we can begin work in them on the fi rst day of school.
