As the oil industry evolved and accidents started to mount, safety and compliance started to be aggressively legislated. It is said that every regulation is written in blood.

It is a known fact that Injuries Reduce Profit. I could site numerous examples of this fact, such as a worker who received a preventable injury that needed treatment. Stopping the job, transporting him from the worksite in the bush, getting a replace-ment, etc. when all the costs were added up the final total reached about $25,000 and this was not a major injury.

Safety can seem to be expensive but injuries can dwarf not being prudent. ‘Direct’ prices are competitive but is a company saving money if they buy just price? We can site an example of a company whose +workers working in wet conditions were going through about three cheap rain suits, per worker, per shift. We suggested a better but albeit a more expensive suit. Comparing just price our cost was prohibitive. What was found was that our suggestion lasted up to five weeks with a cost savings up to $300,000/year. Getting a new pair of cheap gloves can cost time and time is money. That is why we say we sell Cost Effective Solutions.
