Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (IICT), Bhadohi (U.P.)

invites application from PUSHTAINI Carpet Artisans (whose

mother and/ or farther have valid artisan card) for training

under Pushtaini Hunar Vikas Yojna (PHVY) for Mirzapur-

Bhadohi Mega Cluster, a scheme of DC (Handicrafts), Ministry of

Textiles, Govt. of India.

Artisans holding Pehchan ID Card or has applied for Pehchan

ID Card , Minimum 8th pass (Desirable 10th pass) & in the age

group of 16-30 years should only apply. Preference would be

given to Artisan whose name is in the CEPC Base Line Survey

list.

Last Date for receipt of filled up application is 21.06.2017

Training under Pushtaini Hunar Vikas Yojna (PHVY) for Mirzapur- Bhadohi Mega Cluster, a scheme of DC

(Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India

Selection Criteria:

Applicant must fulfill following:

1. Should be a Pushtaini carpet artisans (whose mother and/ or farther having valid artisan card)

2. Must have Pehchan ID card or must have applied for pehchan ID card.

3. Educational Qualification: Minimum 8th pass (Desirable 10th pass).

4. Inclusion of artisan in CEPC- baseline survey list- Desirable.

5. Admissible age limit should be 16 to 30 years.

Training Details:

Area Modules Weaving Hand knotting, Tufting, Tibetan knotting, Loom made, Dhurry Pre-weaving : Dyeing Carpet yarn dyeing, Carpet yarn dyeing with Natural Dyes Post weaving : Embellishment Carpet Washing ,Carpet finishing, Carpet Backing

Important dates:

Filled-in application (Format available on websites) along with all supporting documents must be addressed

to Director , Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (IICT), Chauri Road Bhadohi-221401 (U.P.) and reach to

Institute by post or by hand on or before 21.06.2017 upto 5:00 PM. For hand submission, the applications must

be dropped in the Application Box kept in the reception / entrance of the Administrative building on or before

last date of submission of application i.e. 21.06.2017 upto 5:00 PM.

Name of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on website (www.iict.ac.in ) and Institute’s Notice Board on

30.06.2017. For screening Test (if required) concerned will be communicated through Notice/updates on

Institute website (www.iict.ac.in ) / Notice Board.

Note:

i. Defaulter in any document will not be entertained.

ii. No TA/DA for appearing verification/ screening test is payable.

iii. Canvassing in any form shall be treated as disqualification.

iv. Selected candidates will be required to join training programme immediately as per time table with due

intention/ commitment to become an entrepreneur.

v. Wage compensation as per provision in the scheme is payable to selected Pushtaini Artisans in their

Bank account.
