There are many images to choose form so you can pick the image you like the most or is the best option for what ever you’re doing.Most of the images are high quality.Specific searches.

Disadvantages of sourcing images this way:

Some images are very pixelated when enlarged ,meaning the quality of the image is reduced.You need the internet to find the images on google.Some images are low quality.You could be open to viruses when taking images from the internet.

Advantages of sourcing images this way:

You can use these images as much as you want, once you have payed for them.These images are high quality.Its saves you having to produce high quality images on your own.Could work out cheaper than travelling or hiring out a studio to shoot your images.

Disadvantages of sourcing images this way:

You have to pay to get these images.Other people are likely to have used the same image as you because there’s limited choice.

Advantages of sourcing images this way:

These images have no copyright attached to them.They can be free so sometimes you don’t need to pay.The images are pretty high quality.They have quite a lot of choice.

Disadvantages of sourcing images this way:

Someone may use the same image as you.Seen as someone else has produced the image, may not exactly what you want.

Advantages of sourcing images this way:

Seen as you have produced your own image, no one will have the same image as you so its original.

Easy to find as you’ll have stored in your device.

You took the image so there is no need buy royalties ,and there’s no issue with copy right.

Disadvantages of sourcing images this way:

Your images may not be great quality because you may not own professional equipment.You may think you image look good but people may have other opinions.Your images may not be suitable to use, depending on what you’re using it for .

Advantages of different resolutions:

Higher resolutions provide more pixels therefore creating a sharper and smoother image. Pictures of lower resolution will be a smaller size ,and they will be load faster on to sites.

Disadvantages of different resolutions:

Lower resolutions have fewer pixels so they will not be as high quality as the higher resolution pictures.

Higher resolutions picture will be a bigger file as there are more pixels present.

Manipulated image with appropriate caption:

Explain the changes you made to the image and explain why you made those changes:I altered the levels of the picture because I wanted to make it the picture brighter. Then I used the dodge tool to brighten up the tigers so they were prominent in the picture.I put a red rectangle over the image and turned the opacity down to 20% because I still want the tigers detail to show through. I wanted to use a red tint in the picture because I thought it would like well to the caption I wanted to use, which was about tigers being endangered. The colour red has connotations of danger so by using red I wanted to show that these tigers were in danger of being extinct.
