Snake

• Denotation– A limbless, scary, elongate

reptile• Connotation– Devious, cold-hearted and

untrustworthy (probably a result of the serpent in the Garden of Eden).

Flag

• Denotation– A piece of cloth, varying in

size, shape, colour and design.

• Connotation– Britain, Union Jack, The

Queen.

Gun

• Denotationo A weapon consisting of a

metal tube, with mechanical attachments, from which projectiles are short by the force of an explosive.

• Connotationo A deadly weapon that is

banned in a lot of countries.

The colour scheme in this is quite dark colours because it is meant to be a Halloween movie but at the same time it is made to be a Christmas movie as well.

The main character (Jack Skeleington) wears the same Black and white suit all the way through the film except when he is pretending to be Sandy claws because he is in a Santa Clause suit at that point.

This is set in a town called Halloween town.

It is well lighted and it was quite a bit dark at sometimes.

The framing is good but it is a bit wide at some points.

The actor Chris Sarandon plays Jack Skeleington so well.

The colours suggest that this movie is a horror seeing as it has red, grey and black.

The hook is symbolized death, blood and murder.

There are no costumes on the poster but they are a Fox, Bear, Bunny and a chicken.

It is set in a restraunt called Fazbear’s Fright but the original restraunt in real life is called chucky cheese.

The lighting for this movie is quite dark but it has a few lights that lights it up time to time.

The framing is slim but you can see everything you need to see.

The models are the animatronics that are taking kids and the actor is a guy called Purple guy.

The black colour represents the dark deaths in the game because you can make everyone die off 1 by 1 or you can save everyone except 2 people.

The props are the hour glass symbolizing how much time they have until they all die, the house symbolizing the place where they could die.

The costumes are wintery because it is winter. The location is a house

in the middle of no-where and they go out to see what they can find but they found something far more terrifying.

The lighting is quite dark but has a few lights just like “The bite of ‘87” and it has better lighting inside the house because it is the safest place…. Or so you think. The framing is wide so

you can see all your surroundings and when you do quick time events the framing gets slimmer acting like a timer.

The actors are Hayden Panettiere, Rami Alek, Brett Dalton, Meaghan Martin, Galadriel Stineman, Noah Fleiss, Nichole Bloom and Jordan Fisher.

Shining

• The sounds make it as if it is a Romantic Comedy but it is really a Horror movie but it is because they took all the funny and romantic bits of the movie so It looks like a romantic comedy.

Scary Mary

• The sounds are eary and it is quite distorted, when Mary says “Stay awake, don’t close your eyes” it says that this film is mean to be for Teenagers/Adults because if children watch this they wouldn’t be able to sleep.
