Antoni Gaudí i Cornet 1852 - 1926

Katalánský architekt, významný představitel secese.V roce 1878 navrhl svůj první dům. Nesnažil se napodobit žádný jiný styl, byl naprosto originální. Jeho hlavním sponzorem byl jeho přítel Eusebi Güell a díky němu vznikla mnohá Gaudího skvostná díla.V roce 1883 začal jeho vrcholný projekt, dosud nedostavěná katedrála –Sagrada Familia.Od roku 1914 až do své smrti se plně věnoval stavbě katedrály.Jeho posledním přáním bylo, aby byla postavena z čistě darovaných peněz. Proto se staví dodnes -předpokládaný rok dostavby je 2025.
