Administration of the Toshloq District, Ferghana Region (Uzbekistan) has the honour to note that important contribution on revitalization of living art and promotion of rich cultural heritage of our people in the world community is made by the Government of Uzbekistan.

Katta ashula song was performed perfectly by such respective and famous artists ofUzbekistan as Mr. Mamatbuvo Sattorov, Mr. Mamurjon Uzokov and Mr. Jurakhon Sultonov.

At present time Mr. Turdali Sharipov, Mr. Rustam Otaboev, Mr. Nuriddin Mamajonov and Qoraboy Qodirov, artists of our district, perfonn Katta ashula and they are successors of performing traditions of above mentioned great singers.

In this regard, administration of Toshloq District supp01ts submission of "Katta ashula" to the Representative List of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and kindly requests you to assist in nomination of this fi le to the above mentioned List.
