V letošním roce se koná v Třinci již druhý ročník mezinárodní výstavy technických novinek a patentů. Jsem velmi potěšen, že se opět stala součástí našeho regionu, který je téměř dvě století pomyslnou studnicí řemesel a technického umu zdejších obyvatel. Třinecké železárny již řadu let podporují technické vzdělávání, od mateřských školek počínaje, přes základní a střední školy a na technických univerzitách konče. Považuji tyto aktivity na poli technického vzdělávání za investici do budoucnosti nás všech. Již dnes na INVENT ARENĚ můžete zhlédnout prezentace úspěchů nejmladší technické generace. Věřím, že letošní INVENT ARENA Vám přinese inspirativní zážitky a poskytne příležitost k jedinečnému setkání s nejnovějšími výsledky dosaženými na poli vědy a techniky. In 2018, the International Investors Exhibiton Invent Arena is held in Třinec for the second time. I am very glad that is has again become a part of our region that has been a fount of craftmanship tradition and technical skills of the local people for almost two hundred years. The Třinecké železárny company has been supporting technical education for many years, starting from kindergartens, through primary and secondary schools and ending with technical universities. I consider these activities in the field of technical education as an investment in the future for all of us. Today you can already see the presentation of successes of the youngest technical generation. jsem velkým fanouškem všech inovací. Baví mě nové trendy v nejrůznějších odvětvích, těší mě tempo, jakým se Moravskoslezský kraj vyvíjí. A nebojím se přiznat, že jsem pyšný na titul „smart region“, který náš kraj získal v loňském roce.

Možná i Vy jste v dětství hltali knihy Julese Verna a žasli nad jeho smělostí. Jen si představte, jak se na něj dívali v jeho době. Jedni jej jistě považovali za geniálního vizionáře, jiní ho nazývali bláznem. Jeho mottem snad byla větička „Nic není nemožné.“ Pojďme ji vzít za svou. Staňme se blázny, kteří se nebojí odvážných myšlenek a hledají způsoby, jak své nápady realizovat a dotáhnout do konce.

Velice mě těší, že Moravskoslezský kraj podpořil výstavu INVENT ARENA 2018. Věřím, že tato akce bude silnou inspirací a motivací pro spoustu zejména mladých lidí. Nejmodernější technologie nabízejí zatím možná ani netušené možnosti. Těším se na další „chytrá řešení“, se kterými nás bude naše mladší generace brzy překvapovat. Za vedení Moravskoslezského kraje mohu slíbit, že se budeme nadále snažit podporovat chytré projekty, které náš region zase posunou o kousek dál. Technické novinky, inovační řešení a podpora mladých talentů k Třinci neodmyslitelně patří, proto mám velkou radost, že je naše město už podruhé hostitelem vědeckotechnické události světového významu INVENT ARENA 2018. Považujeme tuto mezinárodní výstavu technických inovací a novinek za jednu z nejvýznamnějších událostí letošního roku v našem městě.

Pro Třinec je charakteristická odvaha pouštět se do odvážných věcí a ve městě se v posledních letech uskutečnilo několik významných investic přesahujících svým významem hranice města. Třinec se stal lídrem inovativních projektů, a to zejména v oblasti elektromobility díky zavedení početné flotily elektrobusů v městské hromadné dopravě. Vydali jsme se cestou tzv. chytrého města, proto v současné době věnujeme velkou pozornost takovým projektům a řešením, která lidem usnadní a zpříjemní život.

Koncept chytrého města ale není jen o městě samotném, ale také o firmách a organizacích, které zde působí. Náš region potřebuje technicky vzdělané mladé lidi, proto podporujeme technické vzdělání už na základních a středních školách a hledáme způsoby, jak děti motivovat a vést k technickým oborům. The main objective of the CEBIOTREAT project is to deliver a solution capable of achieving great energy savings in WWTPs with minimum costs. A new type of aeration system based on diffusers with high endurance and reliability made from corrosion resistant metals will be developed.
