What’s more, it can handle custom sizes,coated or textured media and preprinted paper stock. If yourprint run requires preprinted color inserts, you can load thecolor paper into any of the 12 trays, doing away with theneed for a dedicated interposer station. Intelligent embeddedprinter software routes inserts via the cold paper path to theoutput stage of the system.

All jobs can be sorted accordingto media available, so they can keep running,with a secondary “waiting room” queue allowingyou to re-queue certain jobs when the mediabecomes available. Job labels allow furtherfiltering and selection of jobs within eachqueue. Finished jobs can be sent to a “history”queue, allowing you to recall jobs if additionalprints are required.

The job scheduler has been designed to enableyou to plan your full day. You’re in control atevery stage, with predictable tray filling andeasy tray assignment.

The clear, intuitive interface for professional planningshows you all queued jobs graphically with an overview of work planned for the whole day.Each job is shown onscreen with a status color, indicating any action required. Based on a“keep it green” system, all the operator needs to do is to ensure each job stays “green onscreen” and the system will run uninterrupted. Which means that your entire day isproductive, enabling you to use your time effectively, and even making time for new jobs– and more profit.

Minimizing environmental impact.The KonicaMinolta bizhub PRO 2500P/2000P/1600Puses monocomponent toner, and no selenium,no developer and no fuser oil. And with afusing temperature of just over 212°F (comparedwith 356–392°F on machines based onelectrophotographic technology), it gives youthe additional benefit of being able to handlea wider variety of substrates. Another aspectof the system you will notice is its low operatingnoise level, which can make a real differencein a busy commercial environment.

Virtually ozone free. Because the KonicaMinolta bizhub PRO 2500P/2000P/1600Ptransfers toner by direct press, there is nowastage of toner, and no need for an internalcleaning system. Online finishing. Printed documents are delivered to thehigh-capacity stacker, which can accept up to 6,000 sheetsof paper in two stacks. While a second stack is beingmade, the first 3,000 sheets can be unloaded. In addition,numerous options are available for finishing printeddocuments online. For example, the optional set finisherstaples printed sets containing up to 100 sheets of paper.The high-capacity stacker also features a bypass, enablingthe attachment of additional online finisher modules, suchas the Konica Minolta Bookletmaker 50. This state-of-the-artfinisher is capable of making square-spine books fromsets of two to 50 sheets, resulting in saddle-stitched bookswith up to 200 pages.
