What did you like about your image?I like the colour scheme on the husky, and the different coloured eyes make it stand out. I also like how simple the image is but is still represents a husky. The second image of the penguin i like because they look very similar considering the shapes and editing i've used on the image are basic. Specifically i like the gradient i've used on the arms of the penguin as it creates a simpler way of getting the desired colour.

What would you improve if you did it again?If I did a shape task again I would perhaps try include more detail in the images, spefically the first image. I think i could of included more techniques to reflect a more realistic image. I could of used more textures to make represent the Husky’s fur. Or maybe choose a different image to work from which is easier to create.

What did you like about your image? I like the fact the image represents the original image of Simon Cowell which i was trying to recreate. I like the individual facial features which enforce the realistic look. Particularly the eyes, hair and teeth stand out to me looking like the stand out features. As they were the main points of focus as i was creating the image.

What would you improve if you did it again? If i was to improve this i would maybe focus on putting more detailed skin features on my image. Adding more different skin colour tones tone or facial lines to add a more realistic final look to my character.

What did you like about your image?I like the image itself, it make the character look dominant and powerful. As well as the contrast in colour between the text in red with a pattern behind it, and the grey background. I also like the cutout filter gallery effect which gives a comic book effect to the image which I like as it makes the image look surreal and abstract.

What would you improve if you did it again?If I was to make this again I would edit it in a different way, Maybe through combining more than one image together, or using a different filter rather than cut out.

What did you like about your image?I Like the variation of different texts used, I also like the bright colours used on the final image filled text as it makes it stand out. All of the different types of text are unique to each other and the individual texts could all be used in a variation of different ways.

What would you improve if you did it again?To improve it I would have liked the final text to be bigger so you can see the image inside the text clearer. Also, now i have more knowledge of different variations of text i would would experiment more with different techniques. Like different variations of colour etc.

What did you like about your image? I like the cutout effect which was used to give this image its final comic book look. As Well as the bright colours used in the background which make it stand out to me. Also i particularly like the difference and quality in colour on the character Johnny Depp. The difference in colour makes him stand out as well as the blank space around him.

What would you improve if you did it again? If i was to improve this i would most likely change the background colour so that there was more than one colour, as this would give the image abit more edge and character.

What did you like about your image?In this image i like how simple it was to create a story just through the use of a few pictures, the audience can automatically make a story through the images. Also i like my second image, how it shows the reflection of the key in the eye, Also the final image i like the cutout effect i've used which gives a good comic book effect, as well as the Alessandro's facial expression which makes the image stand out in a good way.

What would you improve if you did it again?If i was to redo the photo story i would maybe aim to edit more of my photo’s, so i could make all of the images look like more of a comic book style. I would also maybe use some different image’s to ensure the story makes as much sense as possible.

What did you like about your image? On this illustration i particularly like the tree’s, they look abstract in a way that makes them stand out looking quite nice, once they had colour on them i think it would look alot nicer. Also i like the dimension of the woodland pathway and how it's positioned on the page.

What would you improve if you did it again? To improve the illustration i would include colour on it, and maybe add some more content to the image, to make it look more like a woodland scene. Also i would make the perspective on this image more clear. The road through the middle of the image looks confusing because of the perspective i drew it at.

What did you like about your image? I like the overall perspective of the image as it makes you feel like you're looking ahead at a road. But considering the editing, i like the threshold i've added to the road, which i then colourized, it makes the road stand out and it looks abstract and surreal to me. Also the cutout filter effect i've used on the the trees to the left and right give the image a nice quality feel to it.

What would you improve if you did it again? If i was to create this again i would maybe add some different colour schemes onto the tree’s either side of the road, perhaps alot darker colours to give the image a dark,satanic feel. As that would be almost the opposite to how it is at the moment.

Main IdeaMr and Mrs vinegar story synopsis: The story follows the adventure of Mr vinegar after finding a large amount of money that some robbers dropped on the floor. Mr vinegar heads to the market with a hope of buying a cow but on his way he encounters a series of different events which lead to him being left with nothing to show for his money.

SettingThe story is set in the countryside of north yorkshire. Although there will be different scenery from woodland locations, and town/market settings.

Visual style With my visual style i will mainly be focusing on a cartoon style of graphics, In the woodland featured pages i will be aiming to have a more abstract fairy tale like style to my work. I will sketch a lot of my work by hand so this will be a style in itself.

confusing to my audience. But here’s why i've included the images i did.The sketched images on the left are there to show the content of my work, the

clothing of my characters and the idea that i will be hand drawing some of my work.

Story Overview(Provide an outline of your story) My story called Mr Vinegar, revolves around a story of a husband and wife, Mr and Mrs vinegar. Who come across some robbers as they are hidden In the trees, they accidently fall and end up killing them by crushing there skulls. They then find forty guineas and they're both over the world. Mrs vinegar sends Mr vinegar to the market to try and purchase a cow which they can then use it for milk etc. to then sell. As Mr vinegar then heads to the market he makes several stupid decisions which contribute to him then being left with nothing to show for his forty guineas. Mr vinegar somehow finds himself in these comical situations which lead to the end situation he finds himself in.

AudienceMy audience will mainly be aimed towards younger ages. From about 12 and below. I’m doing this as I think this is the most likely audience who would indulge in a book like this. As people get past the age of around 12 individuals would usually start to read more in depth, advanced novels. Although this doesn’t rule out older generations from Reading the book, as the story Is comical, entertaining and interesting. But the fact that the story will rely on mainly imagery to tell the story sways my target audience towards children and teens. This short story will easily appeal to both genders as the story is not gender biased. The location of this story is set in north Yorkshire, in a countryside setting. This could appeal to people from Yorkshire areas, as they might want to see how the story has portrayed Yorkshire as a county, and just out of general interest.

Production MethodsWhen producing my pages the majority of the page will be taken up with visuals. I will mainly be relying on the visuals to tell the story for me therefore I don’t have to include to much text on the pages. Considering the visual style to my work, I will take a non photo-realistic approach to my work with the attempt to add my own twist considering the shapes I will use to create my characters, and my overall style considering the vibrant style of colours I will use to portray different emotions to the viewer. I want to add my own twist on my visual work so that it stands out, which gives it more opportunity to become successful. To actually produce my pages I will work in Photoshop closely using different techniques to achieve my desired finished look. Techniques like rotoscoping, shape use, drawing etc. I may also take real life images and then introduce post production to them. By doing this it will give me a good basis to work from.

The audience proposal was very detailed and shows clear intent of who the book will be targeted at.

The only thing I could suggest would be a very small paragraph talking the reader through the mood board to show the influences the images are going to have on the final product. Apart from this there are no further improvements to be made.

The resulting story is very well thought out and interesting.

Now, one day, when Mr. Vinegar was from home, Mrs. Vinegar, who was a very good housewife, was busily sweeping her house, when an unlucky thump of the broom brought the whole house clitter-clatter, clitter-clatter, about her ears. to In an agony of grief she rushed forth to meet her husband.

On seeing him she exclaimed, "Oh, Mr. Vinegar, Mr. Vinegar, we are ruined, I have knocked the house down, and it is all pieces!" Mr. Vinegar then said: "My dear, let us see what can be done. Here is the door; I will take it on my back, and we will go forth to seek our fortune."

They walked all that day, and at nightfall entered a thick forest. They were both very, very tired, and Mr. Vinegar said: "My love, I will climb up into a tree, drag up the door, and you shall follow." He accordingly did so, and they both stretched their weary limbs on the door, and fell fast asleep.

In the middle of the night Mr. Vinegar was disturbed by the sound of voices underneath, and to his horror and dismay found that it was a band of thieves met to divide their booty."Here, Jack," said one, "here's five pounds for you; here, Bill, here's ten pounds for you; here, Bob, here's three pounds for you."

Mr. Vinegar could listen no longer; his terror was so great that he trembled and trembled, and shook down the door on their heads. Away scampered the thieves, but Mr. Vinegar dared not quit his retreat till broad daylight.

He then scrambled out of the tree, and went to lift up the door. What did he see but a number of golden guineas. "Come down, Mrs. Vinegar," he cried; "come down, I say; our fortune's made, our fortune's made! Come down, I say."

Mrs. Vinegar got down as fast as she could, and when she saw the money she jumped for joy. "Now, my dear," said she, "I'll tell you what you shall do. There is a fair at the neighbouring town; you shall take these forty guineas and buy a cow. I can make butter and cheese, which you shall sell at market, and we shall then be able to live very comfortably."

Mr. Vinegar joyfully agrees, takes the money, and off he goes to the fair. When he arrived, he walked up and down, and at length saw a beautiful red cow. It was an excellent milker, and perfect in every way. "Oh," thought Mr. Vinegar, "if I had but that cow, I should be the happiest, man alive."

So he offers the forty guineas for the cow, and the owner said that, as he was a friend, he'd oblige him. So the bargain was made, and he got the cow and he drove it backwards and forwards to show it.

By-and-by he saw a man playing the bagpipes—Tweedle-dum tweedle-dee. The children followed him about, and he appeared to be pocketing money on all sides. "Well," thought Mr. Vinegar, "if I had but that beautiful instrument I should be the happiest man alive—my fortune would be made."
