Doporučené hmotnostní limity


Varování: Není-li tiskárna Océ TDS700 vybavena přídavným držákem rolí, bude překročena při práci s rolemi materiálu, které váží více než 7 kg (tj. o š ířce větš í než 50 cm nebo 20 palců), stanovená mezní hodnota, pokud bude role na pozice číslo 2, 4 a 6 umísťovat jen jedna osoba.

Tiskárna Océ TDS700 může být vybavena až 6 rolemi. Pomocí metody vyvinuté institutem NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) lze pro jednotlivé role vypočítat doporučené hmotnostní limity (RWL).

Poznámka: Do přístroje se vždy vkládá role i s držákem rolí, který váží 1,3 kg.

Kvůli správnému umístění dostupných materiálů na všechny pozice rolí byl navržen podavač rolí, který napomáhá tomu, aby nedošlo k překročení hmotnostních limitů. S podavačem rolí můžete bezpečně používat role s následujícími hmotnostními limity.

Pokyny pro bezpečné používání


ÚvodProdukty společnosti Océ jsou testovány v souladu s nejpřísnějš ími mezinárodními bezpečnostními normami. Při práci se zařízením Océ TDS700 je nutné dodržovat bezpečnostní pravidla uvedená v tomto dodatku.

Údržba■ Nevyjímejte žádné šrouby z panelů, které jsou pevnou součástí zařízení.■ Provádějte pouze postupy údržby a používejte pouze materiály, které jsou

popsány v této příručce.■ Dbejte na to, aby se zařízení nedostalo do kontaktu s tekutinami.■ Materiály pro údržbu a dalš í materiály používejte výhradně k účelům, ke

kterým jsou určeny.■ Uchovávejte materiály pro údržbu mimo dosah dětí.■ Nemíchejte čisticí tekutiny ani dalš í látky.■ Aby se zamezilo vzniku nebezpečných situací během provozu, jsou

veškeré úpravy zařízení Océ vyhrazeny kvalifikovaným a školeným servisním technikům.

Připojení

Upozornění: Zařízení sami nepřemísť ujte. Potřebujete-li zařízení přemístit, kontaktujte místní zákaznický servis.K zařízení připojujte pouze takové produkty, které vyhovují místním a mezinárodním normám bezpečnosti provozu a normám pro vysokofrekvenční rušení. K připojení používejte pouze kabely schválené společností Océ.

■ Pokud musíte z nějakých důvodů zařízení přemístit, přesvědčte se, že mají pojistky použitého elektrického okruhu správnou kapacitu. Informace o maximálním proudu najdete v bezpečnostním listu zařízení Océ TDS700 v tomto dodatku.

■ Nepřemosť ujte žádné mechanické ani elektrické jisticí obvody.■ Nepřipojujte zařízení pomocí prodlužovacího kabelu.■ Toto zařízení není určeno pro připojení k napájecímu systému IT. Systém

IT je napěť ová síť s neuzemněným nulovým vodičem.■ Pokud používáte zařízení zapojené do elektrické zásuvky, vyberte snadno

dostupnou zásuvku a zařízení umístěte v její blízkosti.

■ Pokud používáte zařízení s pevným elektrickým připojením, musí být vypínač pevného připojení snadno přístupný.

Okolí■ Zařízení musí být umístěno na rovném, vodorovném a dostatečně pevném

povrchu. Informace o hmotnosti zařízení najdete v bezpečnostním listu zařízení Océ TDS700 v tomto dodatku.

■ Zajistěte kolem zařízení dostatek místa. Usnadníte tak doplňování materiálů a údržbu.

■ Neumísť ujte zařízení do místností s nadměrnými vibracemi.■ Neumísť ujte zařízení do příliš malých nebo nedostatečně větraných

místností. Informace o požadovaném prostoru a větrání najdete v bezpečnostním listu zařízení Océ TDS700 v tomto dodatku.

Obecné

Varování: Před otevřením zásuvek na papír musí být přiš roubovány všechny čtyři vyrovnávací nohy, aby byla tiskárna Océ TDS700 řádně vyvážena. Nepokoušejte se otevřít zásuvky a doplnit papír nebo jiné médium, dokud nebudou řádně a bezpečně nainstalovány vyrovnávací nohy.

■ Vždy používejte pouze materiály doporučené společností Océ a určené pro zařízení Océ TDS700. Materiály, které nebyly schváleny společností Océ, mohou zařízení poškodit.

■ Zařízení nepoužívejte, pokud vydává neobvyklé zvuky. Odpojte napájecí kabel z elektrické zásuvky nebo vypněte pevné elektrické připojení a spojte se s pracovníky servisu.

Konec životnosti[1]

Symbol "přeškrtnutá popelnice na kolečkách" indikuje, že po skončení životnosti tohoto zařízení je vyžadována v členských státech EU jeho samostatná likvidace. Černý pruh specifikuje, že toto zařízení bylo uvedeno na trh po 13. srpnu 2005. Viz Směrnice 2002/96/EC.

Zřeknutí se zárukBezpečnostní listy obsažené v této příručce byly vytvořeny podle našeho nejlepš ího vědomí jako ucelený návod pro bezpečné používání tohoto produktu. Vyhrazujeme si právo tyto listy revidovat v souladu s nejnovějš ími informacemi. Uživatel nese zodpovědnost za to, že při přijímání případných bezpečnostních opatření posoudí vhodnost těchto informací, a že bude kontaktovat společnost Océ, aby se ujistil, že má k dispozici nejnovějš í verzi bezpečnostních listů. Je-li omezení záruk povoleno příslušnými zákony, zříkáme se tímto odpovědnosti za jakékoliv nepřesnosti, které se mohou v těchto informacích vyskytnout.

ÚvodSpolečnost Océ-Technologies B.V. se zapojila do programu ENERGY STAR agentury EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency). Cílem programu ENERGY STAR je podpora výroby a prodeje úsporných zařízení a tedy potenciální omezení znečiš tění životního prostředí. Použitím níže uvedených funkcí řízení spotřeby se předchází zbytečné spotřebě energie, což napomáhá ochraně ovzduší před exhalacemi z elektráren a snižuje nutné náklady na energii.

Úspora energieJako partner programu ENERGY STAR prohlašuje společnost Océ-Technologies B.V., že Océ TDS700 vyhovuje požadavkům programu ENERGY STAR z hlediska úspory energie. Kritéria EPA ENERGY STAR zahrnují následující funkce: Úsporné režimy.■ úsporný režim Multifunkční systém Océ TDS700 automaticky přejde do

úsporného režimu bezprostředně po dokončení poslední úlohy. Z tohoto úsporného režimu dokáže zařízení obnovit provoz přibližně za 3 sekundy.

■ režim spánku Multifunkční systém Océ TDS700 automaticky přejde do režimu spánku 30 minut po dokončení poslední úlohy. Š kolená obsluha může nastavit výchozí interval režimu spánku (5-60 minut). Anbefalede vægtgrænser


Advarsel: Hvis Océ TDS700-printeren ikke er udstyret med en rulleindsætningsenhed (tilbehør), overskrides NIOSH-grænseværdien for håndtering, såfremt ruller med billedbehandlingsmateriale med en nettovægt på over 7 kg (dvs. en bredde på over ca. 50 cm eller 20") placeres i rulleposition 2, 4 og 6 af én enkelt person.

Océ TDS700 kan udstyres med 6 ruller. Følgende anbefalede vægtgrænser (RWL - Recommended Weight Limits) for rullepositionerne kan beregnes vha. NIOSH-metoden (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health).

Bemærk: Der anbringes altid en rulle i maskinen inklusive en 1,3 kg tung rulleholder.

Der er udviklet en rulleindsætningsenhed, så alt tilgængeligt materiale kan anbringes i alle rullepositioner uden at overskride RWL. Med en rulleindsætningsenhed kan ruller med følgende vægt håndteres sikkert.

Generelt

Empfohlene Gewichtsbeschränkungen


Vorsicht: Bei einem nicht mit einer optionalen Rollenladeeinheit ausgestatteten Drucker vom Typ Océ TDS700 wird der von der amerikanischen Behörde für Sicherheit am Arbeitsplatz (NIOSH) festgelegte Grenzwert für den Umgang mit Lasten überschritten, wenn über 7 kg schwere Rollen mit Bilderzeugungsmaterialien (d. h. mit einer Breite von etwa 50 cm) von einer einzigen Person in die Rollenpositionen 2, 4 und 6 eingelegt werden.

Der Drucker Océ TDS700 kann mit 6 Rollen ausgestattet werden. Mit dem Berechnungsverfahren der amerikanischen Behörde für Sicherheit am Arbeitsplatz (NIOSH) können die nachfolgend aufgeführten empfohlenen Gewichtsbeschränkungen für die Rollenpositionen ermittelt werden.

Sicherheitsanweisungen


Einführung

Alle Produkte von Océ werden nach strengsten internationalen Sicherheitsnormen getestet. Es ist wichtig, dass Sie die in diesem Anhang aufgeführten Sicherheitsanweisungen beachten, um eine sichere Arbeitsweise mit der Océ TDS700 zu garantieren.

Wartung

■ Entfernen Sie keine Schrauben aus befestigten Abdeckungen.■ Führen Sie neben den in diesem Handbuch erwähnten Wartungsarbeiten an

Teilen und Material keinerlei Wartungstätigkeiten durch.■ Stellen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten auf dem Gerät ab.■ Verwenden Sie das Wartungsmaterial und andere Materialien nur für den dafür

bestimmten Zweck.■ Bewahren Sie Wartungsmaterial außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.■ Mischen Sie Reinigungsmittel nicht mit anderen Substanzen.■ Um schwerwiegende Schäden zu vermeiden, dürfen Änderungen an Océ Geräten

nur von qualifizierten Océ Kundendiensttechnikern ausgeführt werden.

Anschlüsse

Achtung: Ändern Sie den Standort des Systems nicht selbst, sondern wenden Sie sich an den Océ Kundendienst.Sie sollten nur Geräte anschließen, die den (inter)nationalen Standards für Produktsicherheit und Funkstörungen entsprechen. Verwenden Sie darüber hinaus nur ein von Océ angegebenes Verbindungskabel.

■ Wenn Sie aus irgendeinem Grund den Standort des Systems selbst ändern müssen, stellen Sie sicher, dass der Netzanschluss die richtige Stromstärke aufweist. Im Sicherheitsdatenblatt der Océ TDS700 im Anhang finden Sie Informationen zur maximalen Stromstärke.

Umgebungsbedingungen

■ Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät auf einer ebenen, ausreichend stabilen Fläche steht. Im Sicherheitsdatenblatt der Océ TDS700 im Anhang finden Sie Informationen zum Gewicht der Komponenten.

■ Stellen Sie sicher, dass um das Gerät ausreichend Platz vorhanden ist. Dies erleichtert das Nachladen von Material sowie die Wartung.

■ Platzieren Sie das Gerät nicht in Räumen, die starken Vibrationen ausgesetzt sind.

■ Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in Räumen auf, die zu klein und nicht ausreichend belüftet sind. Im Sicherheitsdatenblatt der Océ TDS700 im Anhang finden Sie Informationen zu den Platz- und Belüftungsanforderungen.

Allgemeines

Vorsicht: Vor dem Öffnen der Papierfächer müssen alle vier Einstellfüße des Druckers Océ TDS700 ordnungsgemäß eingedreht werden, damit der Drucker korrekt ausbalanciert ist. Versuchen Sie nicht, die Fächer zum Einlegen von Papier oder anderen Medien zu öffnen, bevor die Einstellfüße ordnungsgemäß eingeschraubt und gesichert sind.

■ Verwenden Sie nur von Océ empfohlenes und für den Drucker Océ TDS700 entwickeltes Material. Von Océ nicht zugelassene Materialien können zu Betriebsstörungen führen.

■ Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es ungewöhnliche Geräusche erzeugt. Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, oder schalten Sie die Festleitung zum Stromnetz ab, und wenden Sie sich an den Océ Kundendienst.

Entsorgung[3]

Das Symbol bedeutet, dass in den EU-Staaten am Ende der Produktlebensdauer die getrennte fachgerechte Entsorgung der Komponenten zwingend vorgeschrieben ist. Der schwarze Balken zeigt an, dass die Verordnung nach dem 13. August 2005 in Kraft tritt. Referenz: Directive/2002/96/EC.

Der Einsatz der nachfolgend aufgeführten energiesparenden Funktionen vermeidet unnötigen Energieverbrauch, schränkt die Luftverschmutzung durch Elektrizitätswerke ein und senkt die Stromkosten.

Energieeinsparung

Als Partner von ENERGY STAR® hat Océ-Technologies B.V. ermittelt, dass das Modell Océ TDS700 die Energiesparanforderungen von ENERGY STAR® erfüllt. Die ENERGY STAR®-Kriterien für Drucker betreffen die folgenden Funktionen:■ Energiesparmodus Das multifunktionale System Océ TDS700 wechselt nach

Límites de peso recomendados


Precaución: Si la impresora Océ TDS700 no está equipada con el cargador de rollo opcional, el valor límite de NIOSH para la manipulación de cargas se rebasará cuando una sola persona coloque, en las posiciones de rollo 2, 4 y 6, rollos de material de imágenes cuyo peso neto sea superior a 7 kg (es decir, más de unos 50 cm o 20 pulgadas de anchura).

Conexión

Atención: No cambie la máquina de lugar personalmente, solicite para ello la asistencia del servicio de atención al cliente.Se recomienda conectar únicamente aquellos productos que cumplan con las normas nacionales e internacionales de seguridad de productos y de interferencias de radiofrecuencias, y utilizar el cable de conexión especificado por Océ.

■ Si por alguna razón se viera obligado a desplazar la máquina personalmente, compruebe que el punto de suministro eléctrico al que va a conectar cuenta con un fusible con la capacidad adecuada. Consulte la hoja de datos de seguridad de Océ TDS700 incluida en este apéndice para obtener más información sobre la intensidad máxima.

Varoitus: Jos Océ TDS700 -tulostimessa ei ole lisävarusteena saatavilla olevaa rullanlatauslaitetta, kuormien käsittelyn NIOSH-raja-arvo ylittyy, kun yksi henkilö asettaa rullapositioihin 2, 4 ja 6 kuvausmateriaalirullia, joiden nettopaino on yli 7 kg (eli leveys yli noin 50 cm tai 20 tuumaa).

Limites de poids recommandées


Avertissement: Si l'imprimante Océ TDS700 n'est pas dotée d'un chargeur de rouleau en option, la valeur limite NIOSH de manipulation des charges est dépassée lorsque des rouleaux de support d'image dont le poids est supérieur à 7 kg (c'est-à-dire dont la largeur dépasse 50 cm environ) sont insérés dans les emplacements de rouleau numéros 2, 4 et 6 par une seule personne.

Connexion

Attention: si vous souhaitez déplacer la machine, appelez le service technique.Ne branchez que des dispositifs respectant les normes (inter)nationales en matière de sécurité et d'interférence des fréquences radio et utilisez un câble conforme aux spécifications d'Océ.

■ Si vous devez déplacer vous-même la machine, vérifiez que l'alimentation secteur est correcte. Pour plus d'informations sur le courant maximal, reportez-vous à la fiche technique de sécurité du système Océ TDS700.

■ N'établissez aucun pont entre des disjoncteurs mécaniques ou électriques.■ Ne connectez pas l'imprimante à l'aide d'une rallonge.■ Cette machine ne doit pas être connectée à un système d'alimentation IT (réseau

Généralités

Avertissement: Les quatre pieds de calage de l'imprimante Océ TDS700 doivent être vissés en position pour équilibrer correctement la machine avant l'ouverture des tiroirs à papier. Recommended weight limits


Caution: If the Océ TDS700 printer is not equipped with the optional roll loader, the NIOSH limit value for handling loads will be exceeded when rolls of imaging materials having a net weight of more than 7 kg (i.e. a width of more than approx. 50 cm or 20 inches) are placed in the roll positions numbers 2, 4 and 6 by only one person.

The Océ TDS700 can be equipped with 6 rolls. Using the NIOSH method (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) the following recommended weight limits (RWLs) for the roll positions can be calculated.

Instructions for safe use


Introduction

Océ designed products are tested in accordance with the strictest international safety standards. It is important that you observe the safety rules included in this appendix to help assure safe working with the Océ TDS700.

Maintenance

■ Do not remove any screws from fixed panels.■ Do not do any maintenance activities other than the maintenance activities for the

parts and the maintenance materials described in this manual.■ Do not place any liquids on the machine.■ Use maintenance materials and other materials for their original purpose only.■ Keep maintenance materials away from children.■ Do not mix cleaning fluids or other substances.■ To avoid the risk of introducing hazards, all modifications to Océ equipment are

strictly reserved to properly qualified and trained service technicians.

Connection

Attention: Do not move the machine yourself, but contact your Customer Service.It is recommended to connect only those products which meet the (inter)national product safety and radio frequency interference standards, and to use an attachment cable as specified by Océ.

■ If for some reason you have to move the machine yourself, please make sure that the mains power point has the right fuse capacity. See the Océ TDS700 safety data sheet in this appendix for information about maximum current.

■ Do not bridge any mechanical or electrical circuit breakers.■ Do not use an extension lead to connect the machine.■ This machine is not designed for connection to an IT power system. An IT power

system is a voltage network in which the neutral wire is not connected to earth.■ When the machine is connected through a wall socket, place the machine near a

wall socket that is easily accessible.■ When the machine is connected through a fixed connection to the electricity grid,

the disconnect device in the fixed connection must be easily accessible.

Surroundings

■ Make sure that the machine is placed on a level, horizontal surface of sufficient strength. See the Océ TDS700 safety data sheet in this appendix for information about the weight of the equipment.

■ Make sure there is sufficient space around the machine. This facilitates reloading materials as well as maintenance.

■ Do not place the machine in rooms which are subject to excessive vibration.■ Do not place the machine in rooms which are too small or insufficiently

ventilated. See the Océ TDS700 safety data sheet in this appendix for information about space and ventilation requirements.

General

Caution: All four levelling feet of the Océ TDS700 printer must be screwed into place to properly balance the machine before opening the paper drawers. Do not attempt to open the drawers to add paper or other media before the levelling feet are properly and securely installed in place.

■ Always use materials recommended by Océ and developed for the Océ TDS700. Materials not approved by Océ can cause faults in your machine.

■ Do not use the machine when it is emitting unusual sounds. Remove the plug from the power socket or turn off the fixed connection to the electricity grid and contact Customer Service.

End of life[11]

The symbol "the crossed-out wheeled bin" indicates that at end-of-life of the equipment separate collection is required in the EU Member States. The black bar specifies that the appliance is put on the market after 13 August 2005. Reference: Directive 2002/96/EC.

Instructies voor veilig gebruik


Inleiding

Océ-producten zijn getest in overeenstemming met de strengste internationale veiligheidsnormen. Het is belangrijk dat u de veiligheidsregels in deze bijlage in acht neemt voor het veilig werken met de Océ TDS700.

Onderhoud

■ Verwijder geen schroeven van vaste onderdelen.■ Voer alleen onderhoudstaken uit voor de onderdelen en onderhoudsmaterialen

die in deze handleiding worden beschreven.■ Plaats geen vloeistoffen op de machine.■ Gebruik onderhoudsmiddelen en andere materialen alleen waarvoor deze

bestemd zijn.■ Houd onderhoudsmaterialen buiten het bereik van kinderen.■ Meng geen schoonmaakmiddelen of andere materialen.■ Om risico's te vermijden, mogen wijzigingen aan Océ-apparaten uitsluitend

worden uitgevoerd door een service-technicus.

Aansluiting

Let op: Verplaats het apparaat niet zelf. Neem hiervoor contact op met de service-organisatie.Het is raadzaam om uitsluitend apparatuur aan te sluiten die voldoet aan (inter)nationale normen voor productveiligheid en hoogfrequentstoringen. Gebruik uitsluitend door Océ gespecificeerde verbindingskabels.

■ Indien u de machine toch moet verplaatsen, controleert u of het stopcontact de juiste netspanning heeft. Zie het Océ TDS700-veiligheidsinformatieblad in deze bijlage voor informatie over maximale stroomsterkte.

■ Overbrug geen mechanische of elektrische stroomonderbrekers.■ Gebruik geen verlengsnoer om de machine aan te sluiten.■ Deze machine is niet geschikt voor verbinding met een IT-stroomsysteem. Een

IT-stroomsysteem is een voltagenetwerk waarbij de nuldraad niet verbonden is met de aarde.

■ Wanneer de machine wordt aangesloten op een stopcontact, moet u de machine dichtbij een stopcontact plaatsen dat gemakkelijk toegankelijk is.

■ Wanneer de machine is aangesloten via een vaste verbinding met het elektriciteitsnet, moet de scheidingsschakelaar in de vaste verbinding gemakkelijk bereikbaar zijn.

Omgeving

■ De machine moet geplaatst zijn op een vlak, horizontaal oppervlak dat sterk genoeg is. Zie het Océ TDS700-veiligheidsinformatieblad in deze bijlage voor informatie over het gewicht van de apparatuur.

■ Er moet voldoende ruimte rond de machine aanwezig zijn. Dit vergemakkelijkt het laden van het materiaal en het onderhoud.

Algemeen

Waarschuwing: De vier stelpoten van de Océ TDS700-printer moeten alle worden vastgeschroefd om het apparaat goed in balans te krijgen voordat de papierladen geopend worden. Probeer niet de laden te openen om papier of ander materiaal bij te vullen voordat de stelpoten veilig en stevig zijn bevestigd.

■ Gebruik altijd materiaal dat is aanbevolen door Océ en dat is ontworpen voor de Océ TDS700. Materiaal dat niet is goedgekeurd door Océ kan storingen in de machine veroorzaken.

■ Gebruik de machine niet wanneer deze ongebruikelijke geluiden voortbrengt. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact of schakel de vaste aansluiting op het elektriciteitsnet uit en neem contact op met de serviceorganisatie.

Einde levensduur[19]

Het symbool met de 'doorgekruiste afvalbak' geeft aan dat de apparatuur in EU-lidstaten apart moet worden ingezameld als het einde van de levensduur is bereikt. De zwarte balk geeft aan dat het apparaat na 13 augustus 2005 op de markt is gebracht. Zie: Richtlijn 2002/96/EG.

Varning: Om skrivaren Océ TDS700 inte utrustas med rulladdaren, som är ett tillval, kommer den amerikanska arbetsmiljömyndigheten NIOSH:s gränsvärde för laddning att överskridas om rullar med en nettovikt över 7 kg (vilket motsvarar en bredd större än omkring 50 cm/20 tum) sätts i av en ensam person i läge 2, 4, 6.

Caution: If the Océ TDS700 printer is not equipped with the optional roll loader, the NIOSH limit value for handling loads will be exceeded when rolls of imaging materials having a net weight of more than 7 kg (i.e. a width of more than approx. 50 cm or 20 inches) are placed in the roll positions numbers 2, 4 and 6 by only one person.

The Océ TDS700 can be equipped with 6 rolls. Using the NIOSH method (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) the following recommended weight limits (RWLs) for the roll positions can be calculated.

Introduction

Océ designed products are tested in accordance with the strictest international safety standards. It is important that you observe the safety rules included in this appendix to help assure safe working with the Océ TDS700.

Maintenance

■ Do not remove any screws from fixed panels.■ Do not do any maintenance activities other than the maintenance activities for the

parts and the maintenance materials described in this manual.■ Do not place any liquids on the machine.■ Use maintenance materials and other materials for their original purpose only.■ Keep maintenance materials away from children.■ Do not mix cleaning fluids or other substances.■ To avoid the risk of introducing hazards, all modifications to Océ equipment are

strictly reserved to properly qualified and trained service technicians.

Connection

Attention: Do not move the machine yourself, but contact your Customer Service.It is recommended to connect only those products which meet the (inter)national product safety and radio frequency interference standards, and to use an attachment cable as specified by Océ.

■ If for some reason you have to move the machine yourself, please make sure that the mains power point has the right fuse capacity. See the Océ TDS700 safety data sheet in this appendix for information about maximum current.

■ Do not bridge any mechanical or electrical circuit breakers.■ Do not use an extension lead to connect the machine.■ This machine is not designed for connection to an IT power system. An IT power

system is a voltage network in which the neutral wire is not connected to earth.■ When the machine is connected through a wall socket, place the machine near a

wall socket that is easily accessible.■ When the machine is connected through a fixed connection to the electricity grid,

the disconnect device in the fixed connection must be easily accessible.

Surroundings

■ Make sure that the machine is placed on a level, horizontal surface of sufficient strength. See the Océ TDS700 safety data sheet in this appendix for information about the weight of the equipment.

■ Make sure there is sufficient space around the machine. This facilitates reloading materials as well as maintenance.

■ Do not place the machine in rooms which are subject to excessive vibration.■ Do not place the machine in rooms which are too small or insufficiently

ventilated. See the Océ TDS700 safety data sheet in this appendix for information about space and ventilation requirements.

General

Caution: All four leveling feet of the Océ TDS700 printer must be screwed into place to properly balance the machine before opening the paper drawers. Do not attempt to open the drawers to add paper or other media before the leveling feet are properly and securely installed in place.

■ Always use materials recommended by Océ and developed for the Océ TDS700. Materials not approved by Océ can cause faults in your machine.

■ Do not use the machine when it is emitting unusual sounds. Remove the plug from the power socket or turn off the fixed connection to the electricity grid and contact Customer Service.

End of life[35]

The symbol "the crossed-out wheeled bin" indicates that at end-of-life of the equipment separate collection is required in the EU Member States. The black bar specifies that the appliance is put on the market after August 13, 2005. Reference: Directive 2002/96/EC.
