finish ensures that the refrigerator maintains its stylish look, so you don’t have to constantly clean it. The surface is specially treated to re sist fingerprints, even when touched by soiled fingers.2

Keep Food Fresh and Safe The Panasonic Hygiene Active system is a set of technologies that protects

your food from coming into contact with harmful bacteria. Used in various products, silver is traditionally known for its antibacterial properties. The combination of a silver filter, which produces silver ions, with water mist and blue LED light forms an antibacterial cleanser called ‘Hydroxy Radical’, which naturally occurs in the troposphere. This natural effect is produced inside a Panasonic refrigerator, eliminating 99.9999%1 of harmful bacteria. The Hygiene Active system is situated at the back of the refrigerator in the centre of the cooling airflow. At three different points, the cold and clean air is blown into the refrigerator to create a constant airflow and maximum hygiene.

Hygiene Air is an antibacterial technology integrated into the fridge’s air system. This technology achieves a disinfectant rate of 99.9%1 and thus keeps your food fresh for longer.

The Panasonic BN Series of 2-door refrigerators not only offers the standard solutions for perfect storage, but also goes above and beyond them. With Flexlift, the position of the shelves in the door of the fridge can easily be adjusted. Multi-level sliders allow you to easily move the shelves up or down, so various items, regardless of their size or shape, can be stored. The two movable door bins hold up to 5kg each.

The NR-BN31SAS1 and NR-BN31AW1 are equipped with a spacious glass shelve that can be simply pulled out. You not only get a better overview of the contents in the fridge, you also get easier access to the food. The shelf is made out of tempered safety glass, which holds up to 22kg.

With Flash Freeze in the new Panasonic 2-door refrigerators, freezing food is even faster. Whether meat, vegetables or paked products, the taste and structure of your food is better when frozen quickly. The longer the freezing process, the more chance there is for large ice crystals to form inside the food. These can then pierce the food’s cell membranes and damage the tissue, with the result that the frozen food loses its form and structure while vitamins, nutrients and flavours are also lost. By blowing -30°C cold air into the upper drawer, Flash Freeze not only freezes your food faster, but also retains most of the nutrients. What’s more, the food will always nearly retain its full weight when it is later defrosted.
