The solution’s objective is to support the department in monitoring and reacting on revenue-related KPI changes across all sales channels and plans. BMW (Munich), 2015 - 2016 Development of new ELT processes for loading data from BMW’s supply chain partners into the data warehouse. The loaded data provide valuable insights into the whole supply chain enabling BMW to proactively react on fluctuating demand. FNAC (Paris), 2015 Gathering effort estimates for a data warehouse migration project from SQL Server to Teradata. Analysis of the current data warehouse loading processes. Estimation of the migration complexity and TPT replacement feasibility. O2 (Prague), 2015 Java development of a script analyzer for extracting impacted tables from scripts. Contribution to an analyzer suggesting the target table structure based on a data extract. Analysis of impacted objects before data warehouse consolidation. ETL scripts development for the new data warehouse. Lufthansa (Frankfurt am Main, Prague), 2014 Delivery of a dependent datamart that integrates reservation, check-in, post-flight and Frequent Traveller data. Developed a stored procedure for data access with built-in logic for dynamic SQL statement composition. Took a part in ETL scripts integrating data into the datamart. Wrote test scripts for the stored procedure and the ETL scripts. Used tools: Teradata database, BTEQ. Mercedes-Benz, 2013 Validation of the current SQL instance state, surface area, security configuration and business processes with the new Daimler’s configuration and security rules. Design of a new highly available SQL Server farm using Always On Availability Groups technology for mission critical systems, creation of operation guidelines and backup-restore strategy. Used tools: Database Engine, Data Tools. Internal Project, 2013 DWH design for storage of performance data collected by perfmon. Design of SSRS reports for better overview of trends and comparison through time. Initiated this project for better understanding of server performance through time and performance trends. KSRZIS (Ministry of Health’s organization unit), 2013 Development of ETL for data load from application's Oracle database into DWH. Analytic database (SSAS) design. Used tools: Database Engine, Business Intelligence Development Studio, Integration Services, and Analysis Services. Česká spořitelna (Erste Group), 2012-2013 Redesign of a bank‘s identity management portal. Responsibility for a database structure design, database objects development and data import from old Forefront Identity Management portal. The new REDiM portal successfully replaced FIM portal providing more functionality and better experience to its users. Currently REDiM is used widely in the bank for identity managing. Used tools: Database Engine, Data Tools. Raiffeisen stavební spořitelna, 2012-2013 Development of a custom SharePoint component and underlying database for sales persons activity reporting. Solution took advantage of Reporting Services integration with SharePoint for a manager's dashboard. Used tools: Database Engine, Data Tools, Integration Services, and SharePoint Server 2010. ISS Facility Services, 2012 Customer support overtaking. Database server and DWH status revision. Creation of a backup and recovery plan. Reconfiguration of SQL instance according to best practices, physical model changes and optimizations, index optimization, refactoring of inefficient queries. After changes implementation, data warehouse load time was reduced by 45%. Used tools: Database Engine, Business Intelligence Development Studio, Integration Services, and Reporting Services. Hypoteční banka (KBC Group), 2012 Implementation of reporting portal based on SharePoint Server 2010 platform. Project motivation was to switch from using share folders to a centralized solution with effective security management and protection against information leakage by using Information Rights Management. Used tools: SharePoint Server 2010. Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, 2012 Design and implementation of ETL process loading inhabitants’ income data from agendas to the data warehouse. Used tools: Database Engine, Integration Services. KBC Global Services, 2011 - 2012 Member of a second level support team for applications and databases. Helped internal employees with managing of more than 100 Microsoft SQL Server instances. Performed new instance deployment, security audit, instance upgrades, performance and query optimizations. Korado, 2010-2012 Deployment of the Korado‘s first ever data warehouse. Responsibility for the project’s ETL part, Master Data Services (for data cleansing and code list management), report development for monitoring and managing data warehouse ETL processes.
