Due to the basic cheap sporting clothing such as Track suit bottoms, puff coats, baseball caps etc. However

The colour in this image is very effective. The vibrant red is used as a sign to signify that the women is evil and angry. Also showing the blood of the animals. Two tone hair colour symbolising split personality.

The dark colour of the suit and horns is a sign of jealousy and frustration. In this case maleficent is jealous of sleeping beauty. This is also shown by the black background and crow (unattractive bird.

The bright white colour of the dress is a sign to demonstrate the fact of being pure and princess like. The dress is like a wedding dress portraying the happy pure moments and personality.

in the right hand side images you can see it is a contrasting to the left. The two men stood on the right are wearing Harrington jackets and shirts and reasonably posh well-organised clothing witch is deliberately used to show the audience they clean and professional witch suits in with what the roles are in the program witch in this case is detectives. As you can see this is the stereo typical clothing for a detective so this works well with the characters they are playing.

In both of these scenes there are demonstrations of high key and low key lighting. This is used to portray to the audience the good and bad people or the good and bad atmospheres in the scene. For example on the left hand side image above you can see that the lighting is low this allows the audience to see that this is going to be a dramatic event or projects the feel of suspense or mysteriousness but the light is on their faces showing that the director has made sure they are well lit so the audience still know that they are good guys.. However alternatively on the right hand side you can see the high key lighting this shows that the atmosphere in the room is a bit better and more light and happy. This is shown because the room is well lit and you can see the characters clearly showing that that it’s a calm atmosphere. However the fact the light isn’t on him as much may show he is more in control and dominant. They have used the use of ambient light which means natural light.
