the Westin Hotel in Lombard, Illi-nois from July 16-19, 2015.
Our conference has played avital role in many families. Duringthe last 18 years, AGIFNA had or-ganized powerful meetings acrossthe United States and Canada,which touched many lives. Duringthe last many years, we hadcrossed many hurdles, the spiritof sacrifice, hard work, patience,prayers of many, and the goodwork of many people had led thisfellowship thus far.
With this in mind, we are mov-ing forward organizing this year’sconference. Our fore fathers haveplaced a strong Christian founda-tion on us therefore; we must pro-mote those Christian valuesthrough our meetings to the nextgeneration. Let us come and cel-ebrate. Conference registration is go-ing well. Early-bird hotel & regis-tration rates ends on April 30, 2015and regret to inform you that thisdate will not be extended. Pleaseregister early by mail or online tosave money. Registration submit-ted without the proper deposit pay-ment will not be validated. Varioussponsorship packages along withfree will donation is needed to helpour Conference financially. Many servants of God arecoming in from abroad and NorthAmerica to speak at our Confer-ence. Children willhave a theme-based VBSthroughout the conference. Cen-tennial Celebration is the uniqueattraction to the conference thisyear. The flourishing growth of the Assemblies of GodChurches in North America that we see now has beenenabled by the tireless efforts of the servants of Godwho dedicated their lives for the expansion of God’sKingdom. As we thank God for His goodness uponour fellowship over the past decades, it is importantthat we honor those ministers who have given theirlives, finances, and energy to build our fellowship.
As part of the Centennial celebrations of theestablishment of the Assemblies of God movement,we are planning to honor our senior ministers whohave served the Lord in North Americaat our upcoming19thAGIFNA Conference in Chicago from July 16-19,2015. Few guidelines have been set up for this specialrecognition as follows:
1. The minister should have faithfully servedthe Lord for at least 35 years in any capacity in Indiaor North America.
2. The minister must have good testimonyamong men and our Lord.
The ministers who are selected for this specialrecognition will be honored by Reverend L. Conference with the theme, "Letthe mind of Christ be in you…”Iwould like to take this time to em-phasize the importance ofwomen or the role of women inevangelization or in ministry.
When we search through theword of God, both in old testa-ment and in new testament wecan see many notable womenstarting with Eve, Hager,Deborah, Ruth, Hannah, Abigail,Ester, Martha, Magdalene, Eliza-beth, Mary, the women chosenby God, Martha, Dorcas, Lydia ,just to name few. We see allthese women had special char-acteristics or known for their dif-ferent attributes. Lady Eve wasknown as a woman of curiosity,Miriam as the ambitious woman,Ruth as a woman of constancy,Hannah as the ideal mother,Abigail as the capablewoman,Mary Magdalene as thetransformed woman, Ester asthe self-sacrificing woman,Elizabeth as a humble woman,Martha as the worried housekeeper, Lydia as the businesswoman and Dorcas as the be-nevolent seamstress.Same way,God has given each of us differ-ent talents or characters that canbe used for the expansion ofGods kingdom. These womenalong with the prophetessesAnna and Deborah, the daugh-ters of Phillip all used God givenabilities or talents for God.
We see in the book of Gen-esis 2:18. The role of womenwas to be a perfect help for theman.We as women of God startour evangelization at our ownhome. Spreading the gospelthrough our attitudes, behavior,and our action. When we startministering within our family itwill be reflected to outside intoour community, our work placeand our surroundings. Evange-lization means portraying thegospel of Christ toothers. Wecan do that by our actions.Thelove of Christ should be dis-played to the world by ouractions.When a person be-comes a new creation thruChrist, itwill show in their person-ality.
God placed every human be-ing in this world with a purpose
or bring someone to Christ. Justlike our theme, if we walk withthe mind of Christ,we can ac-complish anything for God.
I encourage everyone of youto look at yourselves, yourability,talents, or gifts that God hasgiven to you. Are you using it forGods work or are you being self-ish? Queen Ester could havebeen selfish and stayed inthepalace but she chooses tostand in the gap for Godspeople, she was able to bring joyto the city of Sushan through her

He gave us thegreatest commission, in Mark13:10 it says: "Gospel must bepublished among allnations…”and in Mark 16:15 it says: “goye in to the entire world andpreach the gospel to every crea-ture…” There are many stepsneeded to accomplish thiscommission.Each person borninto the kingdom of God shouldplay an important role in spread-ing the gospel. That role couldbe as simple as a smile, simpleword of encouragement, com-passion shown to others who aregoing through problems or dis-appointment in lives. Welcomingpeople in to your house, takingtime to pray for others, givingshelter, feeding those who arein need, and visiting the sick andhelpless are all part of HIS com-mission.
We, women have the abilityto open or close the door ofEvangelization. Look at the vir-tuous women mentioned inProverb, because of her disci-plined life, her husband waspraised in the city. Our attitudeand behavior can reflect in to ourchildren and into our life partner.When we become the rolemodel in our home serving andstanding for God then, our fam-ily will see that and follow thestep along with you.I encourageeach woman be passionateabout God and His kingdom.
Let us look at a woman men-tioned in Acts 16:14. Lydia wasa businessperson. She was thefirst woman to greet Christianmissionaries(Paul and Silas) inEurope and she was the first Eu-ropean convert. She opened thedoor for these missionaries tospread the gospel into Europe.She was helping spreadingthegospel. Her willingness to lis-ten the word of God andwilinessto take people into her housesall played an important part inmission the work.She was a de-vote woman, Bible says, she at-tended to the things spokenbyPaul and she acted on it. Shetook a lead or stand to the wordof God. Even though she was abusinessperson, her humble-ness and humility is what al-lowed the gospel to spread.
Second, we see a woman atthe well. In John 4:7,a Samari-tan woman. Even though thiswoman was not very welcomed
in her village, but when Jesuschanged her life, she did nothesitate to speak to the peopleabout Jesus. She took courageto go and tell the village aboutChrist. She had the boldness forChrist. She did not considerwhat others would do or say toher, she went out and told thepeople about Christ. The villag-ers learned about Christthroughher. Many times, wewomen hold back from talkingabout what God has done inourlife,but it can change people
action and enemy was defeatedbecause of her decision to standfor Gods people. Can we aswomen of God do the same,stand in the gap for our family,church, community and nation?You are valuable in His kingdomand we need to do His work. Donot slack or sit still. Rise up forGod. May God bless us all.
Biography: I was born andbrought up in Pentecostalpastor's family. While in theministry, my dad went to bewith the Lord in 1979 in Bhopal,India and my mother went tobe with the Lord in 2002 in Chi-cago, IL. After that, the Lordcalled us as a family in to Hisministry. We minister at ZionChristian Church, ArlingtonHeights, IL. My husband isRev. Dr Sunny Mathew and weare blessed with three daugh-ters, Elizabeth, Rebecca, andBlessy.I work as an administra-tive nursing supervisor atCondell Hospital and the restof the time working for the king-dom of God as the Lords leads.

t is my privilege to serve as the Sports Coordinator for the 19th
annual AGIFNA conference in my hometown of Chicago, IL. Ilook forward to this challenging responsibility, but will eagerly embracethis opportunity and look forward to meeting the expectations set forthby the standards of this tournament.
For this years tournaments we are looking forward to having men’sbasketball, co-ed volleyball, and for the first time men’s soccer. Wehave already booked the venue for the tournament and the locationwill be approximately 20 minutes away from the conference center.
